Crazy Week

This week has been difficult to get to jeffery because of the preparation for the star test next week. The field trip to San Francisco State University and the college workshops took us time off to get to Jeffery. However I believe that next week its going to be more difficult because of the star test it self, with the pressure to study and do well. Hopefully though after the star test everything is going to be smooth.

Jeffery’s Interests

What are Jeffery’s interests, well he told me that he likes to go bike riding for miles and miles long. He enjoys reading books especially books that has action and adventure. His favorite dance is military ball room dancing, and he enjoys hanging out with his friends which I bet we all love to do. Jeffery seems to have an active lifestyle.

I.D

The I.Dentity project turned out great, it was better than I expected. I really enjoyed the performances from every junior in the Digital Safari Academy because they showed there true selves and beliefs. The thing that frustrated me the most was finding out who I really am but later found out that I am a soccer fanatic. Even though that I didn’t preform I liked this project for finding out what kind person I am.

Reflecting on Our Career Exploration

At Electronic Arts I learned that they make the best sport games like Fifa, NBA,  and Madden. they have game designers, gamers, testers, and coordinators. What I like about EA is that the employees seem to have fun doing their job and on thier breaks. During their break they could play acarde games like Tekken. My favorite part of the trip was of course the 60% discount on EA games at the EA store.

Being thankful Challenge

Day 1     11/16/09

Today Iam thankful to have great friends.Iam espeacillaly thankful for my friends Esteban and Tony who had recently brought me back up after a break up I had with my ex a week ago. They showed me how much fun it is to be single again. Last week I felt depress and stress but now Iam trying new old things like trying to get back into soccer. Getting back into soccer is huge for me because I haven’t played since 2006 and I forgot how much I loved it. Even though my friends don’t have the same interset in soccer like me we still play it along with other sports so we could hang out and do something. I give thanks for having such great friends who care about me like a cousin.

Day 2     11/17/09

Today Iam thankful that Iam pacience because at work people complimented me as a pacience helping cashier. I believe that pacience is what helps  settle differences or helps bring peace in this world. Grudges and hate cause disaster, and majority of the people react the same towards others. When some one is mad at me or yells at me I don’t say anything that would hurt them back, but I do try to calm him or her down. If that doesn’t work ignore them for a while until the hate and angry is out of them, then talk to em peacfully. Another reason why I am thankful for being patience is the respect I get from people and knowing that this would help me and others in the future.

Day 3     11/19/09

Today I am thankful for going to the EA field trip. This field trip was more than I imagined it to be. There were a lot of arcade games, exercise rooms, and my personal favorite the gift shop. At the EA gift shop we got 60% off of all EA games, and I bought Fifa 10, Madden 10 all for around $40 bucks, I was like wow I am glad that I waited to by those games because I saved around 60-70 dollars. I would like to thank the DSA for the field trips and EA for showing how cool there job is. Very glad to see what EA does for a living and thank you for making great games all these years.

Day 4     11/20/09

Today Iam thankful for my parents. My Parents spent alot of money on me and for a long time put  a roof over our heads. They did not gave up on me when I was dying at birth, they accepted who I am and tell me to improve on basic life skills like, folding clothes, making my own food, and buy my own things. Thank you mom for helping us with everything that educational like homework, projects, and tests. Thank you dad for teaching me whats right and whats wrong, and showing me how life is so fragile from your near death experience.

Day 5      11/22/09

Today I would like to thank me ex girlfriend Angelica for showing me what a girl and boy relationship is like. She was my first girlfriend and is now my close friend. She showed me my mistakes in relationships like when I am moving one to fast or to slow. Angelica showed me the world that I was missing to forgive and forget, think of the positives as much as you can. When we broke up we were sad and depress but now are even closer, were best friends who give each other advice.

Day 6      11/24/09

Today I am thakful for having a baby brother. His name is Gerrado Antonio Martinez and is a little version of me when I was a baby. He has brought me and my family happiness because he laughs, and plays, doing baby things. Everytime when I am sad or mad I go to Gerrado and play soccer with him, this always make me forget my problems. Gerrado is known to hurt people by scratching and punching but afterwards he gives you a big hug and says “sorry”. I am proud to be his big brother and I would do anything for him.

Day 7     11/26/09

Today is Thanksgiving and Iwould like to thank god for the meal that I recived today. I had a delicious turkey that I got free from work. My moms stuffing stuffed me up good that I wasn’t hungry for desert. I did however walked the feast off and ate pumkinpie. Later me and my family watch the Raiders vs cowboys football game, and I knew the Raiders were going to lose but I didn’t care because the cowboys are my 3rd favorite team. Again thankyou god for having me and my family have a delicous Thanksgiving.

Day 8     11/27/09

Today I am thankful for getting a PS3. Today at 4:00 am I went to Best Buy and bought a PS3 for 299.99 with two free games. This was important to me because I was worried that by black friday all the PS3′s would be sold out. I bought it with my own money, and its mine so I could do whatever I want to it or do whatever I want with it. I did however had to wait 2 hours in line but it was well worth the time when I got my PS3, the console that I always wanted since it came out.
